Kenneth “Rodger” Papenhagen, II,  Senior Pastor

Ken Papenhagen grew up in Britton, Michigan.   Ken has served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Michigan Army National Guard.  Prior to his call to ministry, Ken was working for Ford Motor Company in Saline, Michigan.  Ken and Laura have been married since 1986.  They have two adult sons attending college, Joshua and Nicholas.

Ken has completed a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Ken has completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education, during which he worked as a chaplain at The Toledo Hospital/Toledo Children’s Hospital, St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and Heartland Hospice.  Ken currently serves as Chaplain Supervisor for ProMedica.

In his leisure time, Ken enjoys many outdoor activities including biking, backpacking and fishing and spending quality time with his family.
